Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences seeks a Senior Construction Financial Analyst to advise on capital construction budgeting, planning, and monthly reporting. You will oversee project costs, coordinate with CAPS, CPAO, and CAPS partners, and ensure accurate financial data across multiple systems.
Responsibilities include preparing funding requests, managing invoices, and supporting senior management with Executive Summary reporting.

Facilitate diverse financial analysis for a school/unit and assist department management with their financial planning efforts, budget analysis and monthly reporting.
The Senior Construction Financial Analyst supports the oversight of the day-to-day financial responsibilities of the Office of Physical Resources and Planning (OPRP’s) capital construction projects, assists with the Capital Construction Planning efforts, liaises with the Capital Planning& Project Services (CAPS) office, and assists with monthly reporting. The position will also support capital construction project controls management – financial, contract, and compliance. Capital construction projects typically managed by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS)Capital Projects group range from ~$500K to over $100M. Projects occur in any of the FAS’s268 buildings: science laboratories, museums, libraries, classrooms, residences, athletic facilities, and administrative spaces.
Work is performed in an office setting; Hybrid schedule: three (3) days on campus (2 days WFH) after 90-day Orientation & Review and fully up and running
Sitting and using near vision for reading and computer work for extended periods of time

This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that some of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University's Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
