Job summary

Devon Energy is seeking a Construction/Facilities Technologist to access and analyze complex technical data, create databases and maps, and provide insights to project teams. You will act as a technical expert, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement across concurrent construction and facilities projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or commensurate experience) and 6+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.
6+ years of relevant experience in Production, Plant, Pipeline and Facility Design, Construction, Operations or related field.
Certified Engineering Technologist (CET).

Responsibilities

Accesses and analyzes multifaceted technical data with minimal direction and supervision.
Interprets data to provide insights, organizes data into databases and reports for team use.
Recommends improvements using established procedures and monitors new technology developments.
Completes evaluations with clear information gathering and data collection.
Maintains an economic database for reserve analysis and budget tracking.
Creates maps and reports using databases and software for decision-making.
Leads concurrent construction and facilities projects across multiple functional areas.
Provides mentorship, software training, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
