Job summary

Devon Energy is seeking a Construction/Facilities Technologist to access and analyze complex technical data, create databases and maps, and provide insights to project teams. You will act as a technical expert, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement across concurrent construction and facilities projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or commensurate experience) and 6+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Production, Plant, Pipeline and Facility Design, Construction, Operations or related field.
  • Certified Engineering Technologist (CET).

Responsibilities

  • Accesses and analyzes multifaceted technical data with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Interprets data to provide insights, organizes data into databases and reports for team use.
  • Recommends improvements using established procedures and monitors new technology developments.
  • Completes evaluations with clear information gathering and data collection.
  • Maintains an economic database for reserve analysis and budget tracking.
  • Creates maps and reports using databases and software for decision-making.
  • Leads concurrent construction and facilities projects across multiple functional areas.
  • Provides mentorship, software training, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
