Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management (or equivalent).
• 5–7 years' experience supervising k-12, municipal, and industrial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities of workers in construction of pre-engineered and conventional steel buildings.
• Plans procedures based on specifications, schedules, and staffing requirements.
• Assembles team at project start.
• Orders tools and materials to meet work schedules.
• Coordinates with supervision, subcontractors, and inspectors to prevent delays.
• Resolves issues with supervisors and labor representatives.
• Resolves construction problems with engineers and suppliers to improve methods.
• Inspects progress to ensure conformance with specifications and schedules.
• Prepares progress and cost reports and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
