Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a construction program leader to oversee development and negotiations for building projects. You will prepare RFQ/RFPs for A&E contracts, construction contracts, and other agreements, review proposals, and recommend awards while guiding design and construction phases.

You will administer project budgets and schedules, prepare progress reports, supervise staff, and perform other duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires 12 hour work days when involved in supervision of staff working on special projects.
• Five to six years of job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and negotiations leading to building projects.
• Prepare RFQ/RFP leading to A&E contracts, construction contracts, design-build contracts and other consulting and construction agreements.
• Review proposals and recommend contract awards.
• Manage the design and construction phases of assigned projects.
• Administer project budgets and schedules.
• Prepare and present construction progress reports.
• Plan, supervise and evaluate performance of assigned staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
