Nova Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Construction Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for diverse construction projects, covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

You will analyze plans, clarify scope, and collaborate with estimators, engineers, and operations to ensure competitive bids. You will develop historical cost databases, monitor estimate changes, and support bidding with site visits.

Qualificações

• 2–4 year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or significant field experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in HCSS, Bluebeam, and P6 Primavera; MS Office programs.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing estimates.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope and clarifications.
• Collaborate with estimators, DB engineers and operations to gather information for accurate estimates.
• Review subcontractor and supplier bids for competitiveness and compliance.
• Develop and maintain a database of historical cost data for future estimates.
• Monitor and update estimates as project scope changes.
• Provide support during bidding, including bid packages and pre-bid meetings; travel for site visits.
• Coordinate scope-of-work activity coverage between discipline estimators.
• Schedule development of key scope-of-work activities with estimator input.
• Budget development in current software; coordinate with estimators, operations, and accounting.
• Train estimating department on select programs.
• Assist in contract negotiations with operations for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure estimates comply with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
