Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as an estimator in construction.
• Knowledge of cost estimation processes and tools.
• Experience with project bidding and winning bids.
• Strong cost management to keep projects on budget.
• Procurement experience and supplier management.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction processes.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost estimation process for construction projects, ensuring all cost considerations are accounted for.
• Participate in project bidding, developing competitive bids aligned with objectives.
• Manage costs throughout the project lifecycle and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective material and service acquisition.
• Develop detailed project estimates reflecting design and scope.
• Assist with project planning with project managers and stakeholders.
• Apply value engineering to optimize cost, quality, and scheduling.
• Read and interpret blueprints to align estimates with project scope.
