Job summary

Universal Drywall/NGi in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an experienced Estimator to support our estimating team by preparing accurate, competitive bids for construction projects. This role involves reviewing plans and specifications, performing takeoffs, analyzing labor and material costs, and coordinating with subcontractors and general contractors throughout the bidding process.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Experience using On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid estimating software.
• Strong understanding of the construction bidding process and industry requirements.
• Knowledge of high-end paint products, faux finishes, gold leaf and wall coverings.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate estimates and takeoffs.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and time requirements to develop competitive bids.
• Maintain understanding of NGi's scopes of work, materials, systems, and production rates.
• Prepare estimates for multiple projects simultaneously while meeting bid deadlines.
• Review subcontractor proposals and scopes of work for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Monitor awarded projects through completion to evaluate estimating accuracy.
