Job summary

The Mei Rigging & Crating Llc team is seeking a Job Estimator in Morrisville, PA to provide cost estimates, determine materials, and schedule manpower for customer projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, and field staff to ensure accurate scope-of-work and timely quotes.

Responsibilities include evaluating quotes, coordinating with vendors, and preparing job costing reports while supporting ongoing project delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have time-management skills and ability to work under deadlines.
• Able to read and interpret technical information, schematics, and drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.
• Two years estimating experience preferred (construction or job costing).
• Knowledge of industry terminology, tools/equipment, and related software helpful.

Responsibilities

• Accurately predict project costs, materials, time, and manpower from project documents.
• Coordinate with estimators, sales, and project personnel to review equipment options and determine best solutions.
• Review quotes, bids for equipment rentals, and coordinate delivery of external materials as needed.
• Prepare project plans including field-work, crane-lift plans, and job hazard analyses.
• Complete reports and data entry into estimating/planning software; prepare purchase orders.
