Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. seeks a Senior Construction Estimator to join our team in Utah. You will be responsible for compiling accurate cost estimates for construction projects and evaluating project scope to develop financial summaries that stay within budget and timeframes.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of heavy civil/roadway estimating experience and proficiency with estimating software such as HCCS, Heavy Bid, AGTEK, OST, P6, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of heavy civil / roadway estimating experience including removals, grading, concrete structures, aggregate placement, airport runways and related scopes of work or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of Estimating experience using software such as HCCS, Heavy Bid, AGTEK, OST, P6, and Excel or equivalent.

Responsibilities

As a senior estimator, you are in charge of compiling accurate cost estimates for a construction or manufacturing project. Your main job duties involve evaluating the scope of a project and developing a financial summary that stays within the budget and scheduled time frame required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college, technical school or university in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of heavy civil / roadway estimating experience including removals, grading, concrete structures, aggregate placement, airport runways and related scopes of work or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of Estimating including software like HCCS, Heavy Bid, AGTEK, OST, P6, Excel or equivalent.
• A good attitude and the ability to work with and get along with others.
