Job summary

SureCrete LLC, a fast-growing concrete and civil construction contractor based in Dallas, TX, seeks a skilled Construction Estimator focused on utilities, concrete, and earthwork. You will prepare estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, solicit quotes, and develop cost models for bid proposals.

You will collaborate with project teams to review specifications, attend pre-bid meetings, and support change orders and pricing analysis. A strong Excel and estimating-software background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating utilities, concrete and earthwork projects.
• Strong quantity takeoff skills from civil plans required.
• Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete estimates for utilities, concrete, and earthwork scopes.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from civil plans and specifications.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop unit pricing, production rates, and crew-based cost models.
• Prepare and review Schedules of Values.
• Analyze bid documents, addenda, and scope requirements.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals with detailed scope letters.
• Coordinate with project management on buyout and cost transfer.
• Support change order pricing and claims analysis.
• Maintain historical cost data and update pricing databases.
• Build and maintain relationships with GCs, owners, and suppliers.

SureCrete LLC is a fast-growing concrete and civil construction contractor based in Dallas, TX, with active projects across the southern United States. Our work includes underground utilities, excavation, earthwork, and concrete paving.

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator specializing in Utilities, Concrete, and Earthwork to join SureCrete, LLC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare complete, accurate estimates for utilities, concrete, and earthwork scopes
• Perform quantity takeoffs from civil plans and specifications
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Develop unit pricing, production rates, and crew-based cost models
• Prepare and review Schedules of Values
