Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Operations project team in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, in-person role focused on delivering safe, quality construction on complex projects while mentoring junior staff.

You will manage onsite trade activities, track payments, control costs, and interpret design documents to drive execution with integrity and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must have degree or substantial work experience in construction/engineering.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite trade activities from design to delivery and final installation.
• Track, review, and validate monthly payment applications for trade contractors.
• Manage cost control and issue resolution, including change orders, RFIs, and risk identification.
• Own overall project execution beyond assigned trade contracts.
• Read and apply construction design documents and specifications.
• Mentor and develop junior associates on the project.
