Job description

Description

The Construction Licensed Journeyman Electrician is responsible for electrical project installations, project planning and review, cost estimation, and will have over site of electrical project budget ensuring electrical projects meet budgetary requirements. In addition, this position will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of hospital electrical systems and components with voltages up to 13800 volts, ensuring uninterrupted power to all Medical Center buildings. May direct the work of less skilled electrician(s) and maintenance staff on projects as part of a collaborative team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National EPA Section 608 Certification - State County City Trade License Authority

  • Upon hire: National Electrician Journeyman License - State County City Trade License Authority

  • 10 or more years in the construction field reading blue prints, electrical diagrams, installing electrical components including high and low voltage systems, including 13.8v electrical switch gear, running conduits. Experience preforming preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment, including panels, preforming inferred scanning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 years knowledge of electrical codes in a acute care facilities.
