Job summary

Bechtel is the licensing, engineering, procurement and construction partner on TerraPower’s Natrium project in Kemmerer, WY. The Construction Coordinator acts as a link between Construction and Engineering/Procurement, participating in project meetings and guiding execution planning, scheduling, and cost control.

You will develop constructability inputs during design, optimize methods for safety and quality, and ensure timely communication of construction needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of experience, or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Requires U.S. Citizenship for facility-specific clearance.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must obtain a site security badge.
• Must be physically able to conduct field inspections on a construction site.

Responsibilities

• Inputs construction considerations into early plant siting and design.
• Suggest economical construction details for drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with other teams to develop economical construction methods.
• Develop field organization and equipment bar charts.
• Review quality control program and field documents.
• Participate in project meetings and prepare cost forecasts.
