Job summary

Knight Const. & Supply, Inc. is hiring a Senior Contract Administrator to manage contracts from business development through closeout, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and risk mitigation.

The role sites close collaboration with Bid Team, Project Management, Operations and Accounting. Knowledge of FAR and DFARS is essential. The position requires proactive self‑starter capabilities, team collaboration, and advising project management and customers on contract matters.

Qualifications

• Five years experience as a Contract Administrator in a construction environment.
• Minimum AA degree required; certification preferred from a recognized program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Bluebeam and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of proposals and review of bid packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and negotiate contractual details while maintaining compliance.
• Review awarded contracts and contract modifications for terms needing attention.
• Coordinate and track all contract actions from inception to completion.
• Communicate contract terms to Project Managers, HR, IT and Accounting; assist with quotes for changes.
• Assist in assembling and completing all contract documents.
• Review consultant and contractor pay applications; manage bid bonds.
• Maintain relationships with insurance broker and surety; administer policies.
