BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced mid-to-senior level attorney to join their Professional Consulting Practice Group in Providence, RI. The role focuses on risk management, claims monitoring, and strategic advice to architects, engineers, and insurers across the US and Canada.

Candidates should have strong litigation experience in construction or related fields, a JD from an accredited law school, and admission to practice in any state.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex civil litigation, preferably in construction, claims management, or the design/construction industry.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in any of the 50 United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized risk management and claims avoidance mitigation advice.
• Conduct contract reviews and seminars.
• Investigate, evaluate, and monitor defense of complex professional liability claims.
• Act as a liaison to underwriters and senior claim adjusters.
• Offer strategic input and evaluate defense strategies.
• Develop and manage resolution strategies.
• Interface with clients, insurers, and other project participants.
• Negotiate resolution of claims.
• Evaluate, manage, and provide strategic direction on significant complex construction disputes and litigation matters.
• Engage in risk management of high-value claims on large, complex projects.
• Engage and manage local counsel substantively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and industry experts to resolve complex disputes.
