Gateway Engineers in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead construction administration for municipal and site civil projects. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction administration, the ability to read and interpret contract documents, evaluate shop drawings, and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of grant funding processes is a plus. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field is required; PE is a plus.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of construction administration experience.
• Experience with municipal engineering projects, bid docs, and cost estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of utility design and site civil design concepts.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and grant funding processes.

Responsabilidades

• Construction administration for municipal and site civil projects, including change orders, pay applications, shop drawings, and closeout.
• Review and approval of shop drawings, and evaluation of substitutions for contract compliance.
• Interpretation of contract documents, plans, and specifications; site observations and reporting.
• Ensure work meets quality, standards, and regulatory requirements; oversee bid documentation and cost estimation.
• Provide regulatory compliance support and grant funding coordination for projects.
