Job summary

Trinzic, formed as an independent public company, seeks a Lead Accountant for Consolidations & Intercompany to drive monthly closes, intercompany eliminations, and consolidated reporting. You will partner with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Internal Controls to ensure accuracy and governance across financial statements.

The role emphasizes U.S. GAAP expertise, process improvements, and stewardship of financial reporting during the company’s growth phase as a newly independent public entity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public company environment.
• Experience supporting financial close, consolidations, and financial reporting activities.
• Experience applying U.S. GAAP principles to complex accounting transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare and review consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation journal entries.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and prepare management reporting schedules.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
• Support the preparation of information used in SEC filings and other external reporting requirements.
• Assist with SOX compliance activities and execution of internal control procedures.
• Partner with internal and external auditors by providing supporting analyses and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, SEC Reporting, internal Controls, and business stakeholders to support corporate accounting objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced accounting team members.
