Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Configuration Manager to support national security space systems engineering and defense modernization efforts. This on-site role in El Segundo, CA oversees CM baselines, configuration control, and MBSE-driven processes across the system lifecycle.

The position requires 7+ years in CM or related fields, TS/SCI clearance with SAP access, and a bachelor's in a technical field. Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 per year with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field (additional experience may be substituted for degree requirements).
• 7+ years of experience in Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience managing technical baselines and utilizing configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
• Experience with software verification and validation (V&V), software licensing management, and technical data control.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and maintain Configuration Management (CM) of program technical baselines.
• Manage and track changes to technical data using enterprise configuration management tools.
• Provide systems engineering expertise throughout the system lifecycle, from concept development through operations and sustainment.
• Support technical oversight of design, development, integration, testing, production, and sustainment activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams utilizing MBSE methodologies to manage technical data and program documentation.
