Job summary

Command Cyber Solutions, LLC seeks a Senior Configuration Manager to establish and maintain configuration baselines for hardware, software, and infrastructure at Hill AFB, Utah. The role coordinates across engineering, operations, and cybersecurity to ensure documented and compliant change activities in on-site environments.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in CM, CMDB administration, and experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT related field with 5–7 years of experience in configuration management and CMDB administration.
• Experience with DoD or enterprise-scale data center environments.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow, JIRA, and version control tools (Git).

Responsibilities

• Baseline Management: Develop and maintain a configuration baseline for hardware, software, and infrastructure according to local policies.
• Custodian & Inventory Control: Perform equipment custodian duties including inventory, tool, document, and software library management.
• CMDB Administration: Maintain CMDB to track data center components with high accuracy and map changes to items.
• Compliance & Drift Remediation: Detect and remediate unauthorized configuration drift to maintain high compliance.
• Change Coordination: Manage changes using ServiceNow and JIRA in line with DoW and local requirements.
• Traceability & Version Control: Ensure 100% traceability of changes using version control systems.
• Review Board Collaboration: Participate in CCB/ERB meetings to secure pre-approval for changes.
• Risk & Rollback Planning: Coordinate risk assessments and rollback plans for each change.
• Monthly CM Reporting: Deliver reports detailing changes, backlogs, and rationale.
• Script & Repository Management: Maintain repository with codes, scripts, and docs.
