Job summary

Intelligence Consulting Enterprise Solutions, INC. seeks a Sr. System Engineer - Configuration Management in Chantilly, VA to support government contracts requiring TS/SCI clearance.

You will manage configuration baselines, lead CM activities, participate in ERBs, track RFCs, and ensure compliance with standards like ANSI/EIA-649 and ISO 15288. A federal/IC background is preferred.

The role involves MBSE applications, reporting, audits, and collaboration with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or related field.
• 12+ years in Configuration Management or Systems Engineering in federal/IC environments.
• Experience with change control, RFC tracking, baseline management, and CM audits.
• Experience with CM tools: DOORS, JIRA, Confluence, Git.
• Familiarity with ANSI/EIA-649, ISO 15288, and NRO CM processes.

Responsibilities

• Support CM across system, service, function, and project levels.
• Evaluate impact of change requests on acquisitions and projects.
• Generate, coordinate, and track RFCs with cost impact docs.
• Coordinate CM board agendas and participate in ERBs.
• Track CDRLs responses and CORL approval letters.
• Advise Government points of contact on system/process impacts.
• Develop and maintain CMP; provide monthly status updates.
• Administer CM activities at enterprise and group levels, including ERB scheduling.
• Support service adjustments via pre-coordination of site-level impacts.
• Deliver CM status reports and contribute to CM audits.
• Use MBSE/data-driven methods to support configuration decisions.
