Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Engineer to join the PLM team in Berkeley, MO. You will manage CM processes, baselines, and documentation across the development lifecycle, ensuring accurate engineering changes and effective communication with teams and suppliers.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field, 5+ years in CM, and the ability to obtain SAP access. NDIA CM certification and security clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of configuration management experience.
• Experience with technical proposal writing.
• Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Support assignment of configuration items/CS/CSCI identifiers.
• Manage program technical baselines and interfaces.
• Prepare and coordinate change documentation and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) / Contract Change Proposals (CCP).
• Perform configuration audits and verification activities for hardware, software, systems.
• Prepare metrics and status reports.
• Attend Engineering and Configuration meetings, working groups and boards.
• Work with Boeing program teams, Business Partner, Customer and Suppliers.
• Educate and/or train others on program CM processes.
