Baseline Contracting Inc. is hiring a Senior Concrete Finisher / Craftsman to join our premier Field Operations team, headquartered in Coplay, PA.

You will work on high-profile infrastructure, including bridge decks, parapets, and slipforms, delivering precision finishes and long-lasting durability. This role requires mastery in concrete finishing, tool fluency with trowels and power equipment, and a strong work ethic for year-round outdoor work in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of documented experience in professional structural concrete finishing.
• Elite proficiency with hand trowels, mag floats, bull floats, walking edgers, mechanical power trowels, and vibrating screeds.
• Deep understanding of concrete mix behavior, slump variations, and weather impacts on finishing.
• Capacity to perform intensive outdoor labor in PA weather.

Responsibilities

• Finish fresh concrete surfaces to exact grading, slope, and cosmetic specs with hand tools and power trowels.
• Lead or assist in setting and aligning fixed forms; direct pouring, spreading, and rough leveling of material.
• Smooth expansion joints to prevent cracking and ensure longevity under load.
• Apply curing compounds, sealers, and coatings per PennDOT and client standards.
• Oversee cleanup and maintenance of finishing tools and equipment.
• Enforce safety procedures and OSHA regulations on all active work zones.
• Collaborate with crew to meet production targets without compromising quality.
