Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher / Form Setter to join our crew in Texas. You will build, set, and align formwork for sidewalks, driveways, ramps, curbs, and other concrete structures, and ensure proper grade and finish.

You will read layouts, place rebar, screed, and finish concrete using appropriate tools while maintaining safety and quality on outdoor projects year-round.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in concrete form setting and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and elevation markings.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment.
• Knowledge of ADA, TxDOT, and standard concrete specifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow layouts, elevations, and formwork designs.
• Set, align, and brace wood, steel, and SIM forms for flatwork and curbs.
• Install form hardware, wall ties, expansion joints, and rebar chairs as specified.
• Use levels, tapes, lines, and grade pins to confirm elevation and slope.
• Place and cut rebar and wire mesh to size with correct spacing.
• Screed and finish concrete to proper elevation and slope for drainage.
• Operate screeds, vibrators, and finishing machines safely.
• Coordinate with concrete truck drivers for staging and pour sequencing.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas and follow safety protocols if applicable.
• Perform traffic control and flagging duties as required.
