Job summary

Allegiance Group in Charleston, SC seeks an experienced Concrete Estimator to join its team. You will produce accurate estimates for concrete construction, review drawings, and develop detailed scopes of work.

Collaborate with operations, management, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bids reflect real-world construction requirements and support long-term project success.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating or preconstruction experience within concrete construction.
• Strong knowledge of concrete scopes, quantities, labor and material costs.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong quantity takeoff and estimating capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative approach with operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for concrete construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed scopes of work.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to reflect real-world requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with bid strategy, value engineering and preconstruction planning.
• Follow up on pricing, proposals and outstanding information to keep bids moving.
• Collaborate with internal teams throughout estimating and handover.
