Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Arlington, VA, seeks a COMSEC Senior Engineer to shape the design of F-35 cryptographic and key management architectures. You will provide SME guidance on equipment design and necessary support, and recommend tasks to government security leads.

You will support certification and accreditation activities for operation systems, including RMF compliance, and assist with cryptographic change approvals for F-35 HADs such as ECUs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with COMSEC supervision, developing COMSEC key architectures, and ECU deliverables, processes, and certification
• Experience with cryptographic algorithms
• Knowledge of UIC processes, and KMI and EKMS systems
• Ability to coordinate effectively across government, contractor, and external stakeholders
• Ability to prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence
• Ability to lead a team in fast-paced classified environments
• TS/SCI clearance (required)
• DoD COMSEC policies, directions, instructions, and manuals (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Provide SME-level guidance on the design of equipment and necessary support for COMSEC in the F-35 program
• Support certification and accreditation activities for operation systems, including RMF compliance
• Assist with obtaining approval of cryptographic changes to F-35 High Assurance Devices (HADs) such as ECUs and new HAD developments
• Coordinate with government security leads and other stakeholders in a fast-paced classified environment
