Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a COMSEC Engineering Functional Lead to guide the design of cryptographic equipment and lead teams within a fast-paced, classified environment. The role emphasizes RMF certification support, coordination with government and contractor stakeholders, and oversight of cryptographic change approvals for F-35 HADs.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of COMSEC leadership, experience with cryptographic systems, and a TS/SCI clearance, plus a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of COMSEC experience including supervision and architecture development.
• Experience with cryptographic algorithms and ECUs/HADs.
• Knowledge of UIC processes, KMI and EKMS systems.
• Ability to coordinate across government, contractor, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare briefings, reports, SOPs, and official correspondence.
• Ability to lead a team in fast-paced classified environments.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance on COMSEC design of equipment and support.
• Support certification and accreditation activities per RMF for operation systems.
• Assist with approval of cryptographic changes to F-35 HADs.
• Coordinate with government security leads and external stakeholders.
