Verkada Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Computer Vision in San Mateo, CA. You will develop AI-powered analytics, focusing on people/vehicle detection, license plate recognition, and real-time video analysis, delivering scalable CV models for a broad customer base.

The role requires strong C++ skills, experience with traditional CV methods, and hands-on work with neural nets. Onsite collaboration in a fast-growing security-tech environment is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of work or research experience with neural net frameworks.
• Mastery of at least one practical programming language.
• Experience working in an agile team software development environment.

Responsabilidades

• C++ - write clean, modular code for computer vision systems.
• Apply traditional computer vision algorithms as part of the pipeline.
• Work with data structures and system architecture.
• Willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
