Job summary

Imagry | Autonomous Driving is seeking a Senior Deep Learning Engineer for computer vision to join the San Jose R&D team. The role focuses on developing and integrating novel deep-vision perception algorithms at the core of our autonomous driving system.

You will work on cutting-edge deep vision methods, iterate on ideas, and see results deployed in our autonomous vehicles. Reporting to the Perception Team Leader in San Jose, you will collaborate across multi-time-zone teams and guide

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or equivalent in CS, EE, Physics or similar from a leading university.
• Ph.D. is an advantage for candidates.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in deep learning development.
• Experience with computer vision: classification, detection or segmentation.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning fundamentals.
• Experience with PyTorch.
• Strong math: probability, linear algebra, geometry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SJ site Deep Learning Engineers, Safety Drivers & Test Engineers.
• Supervise data pipelines from collection to annotation and model training.
• Design and optimize deep neural networks with feature engineering.
• Own medium to long-term projects end-to-end.
• Develop performance metrics and report results.
• Communicate and visualize results to stakeholders.
• Align algorithms with product needs.
