Interclypse Inc. is seeking a Senior Computer Specialist in Maryland to lead system analysis and software evaluation projects within state agency modernization efforts. The role requires deep expertise across multiple CS disciplines and a commitment to optimizing hardware and software performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 8 years of computer experience in at least two of: system analysis, system programming, application programming, equipment analysis.
• 5 years of experience as hardware or systems software specialist or systems analyst related to hardware/software evaluation and large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine costs for converting computer systems between languages or machines using compilers, simulators, emulators, or translators.
• Develops, manages, maintains, and evaluates current hardware, software, and tools; evaluate interfaces and bottlenecks; propose improvements for optimal hardware/software use.
• Assist in determining system requirements and improvements to support missions of Maryland state agencies.
