Job summary

Data Systems Analysts, Inc (DSA) invites applications for a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to support the OMS National Gateway Centers’ C2 Messaging Interoperability mission. This role provides hands-on systems and network engineering to sustain and enhance OMS backbone and support systems for DoD and allied partners.

Applicants must hold a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, Security+ or equivalent, and eight years of DoD NSS architecture design.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Copilot or an approved equivalent AI solution experience.
• Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Current Security+ certification.
• Proficiency using AI to support research and workflow improvement.
• BA/BS in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years of design and implementation of system architectures on major NSS in the DoD.
• Strong engineering background supporting high-visibility systems that transmit worldwide, including ships at sea.
• Holding an IAT II qualified certification (e.g., Security+).
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining SOPs and TTPs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and refine mission requirements and coordinate buy‑in with key stakeholders.
• Generate feasibility and technical analysis reports upon Government request to assist decision‑making.
• Be responsible for project planning and, upon Government approval, project execution using best practices.
• Identify system hardware, software, and operational changes to enhance operational efficiency and improve usability on OMS.
• Generate feasibility reports as requested by the COR, ensuring specific requirements, objectives, trade‑offs, and constraints are included, present multiple approaches to risk analysis, and estimate cost and effort for each approach.

Data Systems Analysts, Inc (DSA) has an opening for a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect as a Key Personnel to support the Organizational Messaging Service (OMS) National Gateway Centers’ (NGCs) Command and Control (C2) Messaging Interoperability mission. This role provides hands‑on systems and network engineering and architectural development support to sustain and enhance OMS backbone and support systems, ensuring reliable, secure, interoperable messaging services for DoD, the Intelligence Community, other U.S. Government users, and allied/coalition partners.

Required Qualifications

• Microsoft Copilot or an approved equivalent AI solution experience.
• Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Current Security + Certification.
• Proficiency using AI to support research and workflow improvement.
• Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years of design and implementation of system architectures on major NSS in the DoD.
• Strong engineering background supporting high‑visibility systems that transmit worldwide, including ships at sea.
• Holding an IAT II qualified certification (e.g., Security+).

Clearance Required

• Current Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance.

The posted salary range is a good‑faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job‑related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$170,000 - $175,000 USD
