Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture, analyze research, and apply changes per evolving project needs. You will integrate trends, work with teams to identify viable solutions, and ensure compliance with established project requirements.

The role requires deep CS knowledge, system design across Windows/UNIX/Linux, and experience with security architectures, databases, and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science (CS) with concentration in foundational CS areas.
• Relevant experience must cover design/development of computer or information systems and lifecycle engineering.
• Completion of military training in a relevant area (e.g., JCAC) counts toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture by analyzing research and applying changes based on project requirements.
• Integrate industry trends and new vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify, evaluate and recommend solutions.
• Produce compliance results for established IT architecture and project requirements.
• Define and analyze data requirements; map legacy data to modern models.
• Propose standard data transport methods between IT systems.
