Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems is seeking Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture using a mix of commercial and government hardware, software and security products. You will analyze research, integrate trends, and collaborate with technical teams to propose solutions that meet project requirements.

The role includes data requirements definition, data modeling and standard data transport, with opportunities to tackle security-focused challenges affecting national security.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science (CS). Related fields may be considered if core CS courses are included.
• Relevant experience must cover the lifecycle of computer/information systems including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Completion of military training such as JCAC will be counted toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture through analysis of research and changes based on project requirements.
• Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies and standards and new vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate and recommend technical solutions.
• Produce compliance results for established project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define and analyze data requirements, mapping legacy data stores to data models.
• Propose standard ways for information transport between IT systems and stored data.
• Perform architectural alignment of the enterprise data models.
