Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems is seeking Computer Systems Architects for the NSA-related environment, focusing on modernizing IT architecture using commercial and government hardware, software, and security products.

You will collaborate with technical teams to evaluate and propose compliant, secure solutions and map legacy data to modern data models while aligning with enterprise architecture goals. This role emphasizes hands-on data modeling and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science or related field with foundational CS coursework.
• Relevant experience in design/development of computer or information systems across lifecycle.
• Military training (JCAC) counts towards experience; multiple degree levels tiered by years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture by analyzing research and applying changes to evolving requirements.
• Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies and standards with vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to evaluate and propose solutions.
• Produce compliance results for project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define and analyze data requirements; map legacy data to logical/physical models.
• Propose standard data transport methods between IT systems and corporate databases.
• Align enterprise data models with physical data models.
