Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems is seeking a Computer Systems Architect to support NSA-related infrastructure at Fort Meade, MD. The role emphasizes modernizing IT architecture, integrating new technologies, and collaborating across technical teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or related field required with foundational CS coursework
Experience in design/development of computer/information systems
Engineering hardware/software lifecycle experience (requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment)
Military JCAC or equivalent training counted toward experience

Responsibilities

Modernize IT architecture through analysis of research and introducing changes based on evolving project requirements
Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies and standards and new vendor features
Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify and evaluate solutions
Produce compliance results for project requirements and IT architecture
Define and analyze data requirements; map legacy data to logical and physical models
Propose standard information transport methods between IT systems
Align enterprise data models with physical data models
