Job summary

NSA seeks Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture by analyzing research and introducing changes aligned with evolving project requirements. You will integrate industry trends, emerging technologies, and new vendor features, working with technical and application teams to identify and recommend solutions.

The role requires CS fundamentals, lifecycle experience, and the ability to produce compliance results for IT architecture.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science or related field with foundational CS coursework.
• Relevant experience across lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Military training (e.g., JCAC) counts toward experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture through analysis of research and introducing changes based on evolving project requirements.
• Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies and standards and new vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate and recommend technical solutions.
• Produce compliance results for established project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define and analyze data requirements, mapping legacy data stores to logical and physical data models.
• Propose standard data transport methods between IT systems and corporate knowledge databases.
• Perform architectural alignment of enterprise data models.
