Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Computer Scientist II to provide software and systems engineering services within a team, supporting DoD test ranges.

The role requires a bachelor’s (or master’s) and security clearance readiness; CompTIA Security+ or equivalent; U.S. citizenship; and the ability to work with customers, perform design, coding, testing, and sustainment. Travel to remote locations may be required. Salary ranges from $127,500 to $140,000 with day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of two years of related experience or a master’s degree.
• CompTIA Security Plus Certification Required or must be obtained within six months from hire date.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Experience with programming and software development lifecycles and system design.

Responsibilities

• Advise team and project managers on technical problems.
• Interact with customers and project managers on a regular basis.
• Develop design of system/software and associated design documentation; conduct design reviews.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, and system testing.
• Provide guidance to subordinate technical staff and maintain customer relations.
• May support pursuit of new business efforts and act as a technical consultant.
