Qualifications

Minimum 7-10 years in computer science/software development, with 3+ years in intelligence/defense applications.
Master's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field preferred.
Advanced expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks and development paradigms.
Deep understanding of distributed systems design and implementation.
Experience leading software development teams and managing complex projects.
Advanced expertise in cloud-native architecture and deployment strategies.
Significant experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools.
Experience with system performance optimization and scalability.
Knowledge of federal information security requirements and compliance frameworks.
Ability to translate complex intelligence requirements into technical solutions.
Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities

Apply CS disciplines including software engineering, algorithms, distributed systems, cloud computing, full-stack development, and database management.
Design and develop technical solutions meeting JIOC mission requirements and close intelligence gaps.
Support development and optimization of automated intelligence processes and analysis tools.
Investigate, prototype, and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance intelligence capabilities.
Integrate new technologies into existing architectures to improve intelligence effectiveness.
Implement and integrate open-source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
Evaluate functionality, effectiveness, and suitability of systems to address shortcomings.
Develop technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership.
Collaborate with government, military, and contractors to address technical deficiencies.
Recommend process improvements based on operational effectiveness and new technologies.
Participate in intelligence planning conferences, working groups, and technical exchanges.
