Job summary

Mistral AI is building a Compute Support team to ensure reliability and scalability of GPU clusters in Kubernetes. You will be the first point of contact for customers and internal teams, providing guidance, triage, and resolution for compute-related inquiries.

The role blends system administration with customer-facing communication and on-call support. As a founding member, you will shape processes, standards, and culture, with exposure to AI workloads, HPC environments, and deep-dive debugging

Qualifications

• 5+ years in system administration, technical support, or infra operations in compute-heavy environments.
• Deep Linux/Unix expertise including kernel issues, perf tuning, and networking.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience with debugging pods, nodes, and clusters; proper resource management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first interlocutor for customers and internal teams with timely responses.
• Triage requests and ensure SLAs for acknowledgment, response, and resolution.
• Diagnose issues from logs and metrics; provide actionable guidance and workarounds.
