Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Compute Hardware Technical Leader to lead system design on computing system products and drive them from concept to production.

You will work with cross-functional teams, address complex hardware challenges, and interact with suppliers and JDMs. A strong background in x86/ARM CPUs and high-speed design is required; MS/PhD preferred; travel 5–10%, and 4 days/week on-site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8+ years of system-level development.
• Experience in hardware designs with x86 or ARM CPUs.
• Experience with high-speed design signal integrity and power distribution techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design on computing system products.
• Drive computing products from concept to production.
