Job summary

Copia Search is seeking a Senior-level Software Engineer in Southern California to lead development of automated geometry-processing pipelines for a proprietary platform. You will work on core geometry-processing systems bridging digital design and manufacturing, designing new algorithms and engines rather than maintaining existing pipelines.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Significant professional experience developing software involving 3D geometry.
• A deep understanding of geometry algorithms, representations, and data structures.
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing geometry algorithms and production-quality geometry-processing systems.
• Experience working with complex 3D representations such as meshes, surfaces, solids, volumes, or implicit geometry.
• Experience optimizing computationally intensive workloads.
• Experience with GPU computing, GPU acceleration, or other forms of high-performance parallel computing.
• The ability to translate mathematical and algorithmic concepts into robust software.
• A track record of taking technically difficult systems from concept through production.

Responsibilities
