Senior Computational Designer (Remote Work Option)

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Computational Designer to join our Digital Engineering Solutions team. This role involves leading design automation, computational strategies, and BIM technologies to drive digital transformation within the firm. The ideal candidate has demonstrated excellence in computational design, extensive experience with AEC design technologies, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading projects utilizing BIM applications and computational design tools such as Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Bentley applications, and programming languages like Python and C#.
2. Providing strategic and technical leadership.
3. Mentoring team members and fostering innovation.
4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams globally.
5. Staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
6. Developing documentation, standards, and workflows.
7. Representing the company at industry events.
8. Performing additional tasks as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, with consideration for equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Computer Science and experience in the AEC industry.

This position offers a full-time, regular employment status with options for remote or hybrid work. Travel may be required (approx. 5%). The salary range is $89,336 to $147,389, with potential bonuses.
