Job summary

HAYA Therapeutics in San Diego is seeking a senior computational biology scientist to advance our RNA-guided therapeutics program. You will lead multi-omics analyses to identify regulatory genome drivers of disease and to translate findings into actionable targets.

You will collaborate with data science, wet lab, and clinical teams, applying rigorous workflows in R or Python, and present results to stakeholders to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, CS, Genomics or related field.
• Proficient in R or Python with strong data hygiene.
• Experience identifying novel targets and building computational workflows with minimal supervision.
• Deep experience preprocessing and analyzing multi-omics datasets (bulk/single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, PRO-seq, CUT&RUN).
• Strong understanding of gene regulation, transcriptomics, and non-coding genome (lncRNAs).
• Ability to present complex multi-omics analyses to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute target discovery and validation using multi-omic data.
• Integrate public and internal datasets to identify regulatory genome drivers.
• Translate results into presentations and docs for program stakeholders.
