Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist, Computational Biology in Oncology Translational Research to analyze and integrate multimodal omics, biomarker, and clinical data to support oncology drug development.

You will work with DNA/RNA sequencing, proteomics, single-cell and spatial data; identify PD, prognostic, predictive, and resistance biomarkers; apply AI and ML methods; and collaborate across teams to communicate findings and contribute to publications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• 1-3 years industry experience.
• Proficiency in R, Python, Unix.
• Strong oncology translational knowledge.
• Expertise in statistical and machine learning methods.
• Peer-reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze DNA/RNA sequencing, proteomics, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomics data.
• Identify and validate pharmacodynamic, prognostic, predictive, and resistance biomarkers.
• Leverage AI, statistical, and machine learning approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate findings, and contribute to publications.
