Job summary

Immunai seeks a Senior I / Senior II Computational Biologist to lead externally collab projects in immuno-oncology and autoimmune research. You will design, execute, and disseminate analyses leveraging single-cell multi-omics with biologists, immunologists, ML specialists, and business development teams.

You will liaise with external and internal stakeholders to define objectives, run rigorous analyses, and communicate findings through data reports and presentations. Hybrid NYC-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-omic data analysis including bulk and single-cell transcriptomics.
• Strong ability to develop and test data analysis code in R or Python (pandas).
• Background with machine learning methodologies and willingness to apply ML approaches.
• Ability to distill complex analyses into clear conclusions with visualizations and presentations.
• First-author peer-reviewed publications or project leadership in related areas.
• Immunology interest with experience in immuno-oncology and/or autoimmune diseases; CAR-T knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to external collaborators and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead computational biology efforts for industry and academic partnerships in immuno-oncology and autoimmune diseases.
• Define research objectives and analysis plans with stakeholders.
• Execute rigorous, reproducible data analyses using state-of-the-art methods.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery.
• Present findings to external collaborators via presentations and reports.
• Develop new approaches, including leveraging LLM-based tools, to push Immunai's capabilities.
