Toray Performance Materials Corporation in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Senior Composites Applications Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of composite part applications from customer requirements to production handover. You will drive NPI, manage an applications team, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional groups to deliver manufacturable, high-quality solutions.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in composites/NPI, and strong CAD

- 5+ years industrial experience in composites engineering or NPI in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of composite materials, tooling design, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and guiding design-for-manufacture decisions
Responsabilidades
- Translate customer needs into detailed engineering specs.
- Assist customers with technical engagements and design-for-manufacture discussions.
- Provide product/process recommendations to support programs.
- Lead the NPI workflow: scoping, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, execution.
