Job summary

Reliability & Performance Technologies ( R&P ) is seeking an experienced Composite Technician IV for a full-time position in Gautier, Mississippi. You will be responsible for overseeing composite lamination and installations on US Navy ships, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety. The compensation package includes health insurance contributions and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of structural and composite experience.
• Must have US citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Physical fitness for shipyard work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee surface preparation and composite lamination/installation.
• Coordinate with other Lead Technicians and Operations Managers.
• Provide training for assigned personnel and assist with evaluations.

Skills

Strong communication skills

Leadership and training experience

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat DC

Ability to use power, pneumatic, and hand tools

Education

Technical education or verified work experience in composite industry
