Job summary

Composite Resources, a Re:Build Manufacturing company in Rock Hill, SC, is seeking skilled Composite Technicians to join our growing team. You will perform hand lay-up of composite materials, vacuum bagging, and finishing operations, working with epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester resins, and multi-system jobs.

Requires 3+ years with carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass, plus experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with composite materials (carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass).
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply improvements from SOPs.
Measurement competencies: calipers, micrometers, tape measure, indicators.
Experience with adhesive bonding and structural assembly.

Responsibilities

Perform hand lay-up of composite materials (wet lay-up and prepreg).
Execute vacuum bagging process from start to finish.
Apply a full range of resin systems (epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester, silicones, multi-system).
Perform hand-finishing operations on patterns and molds.
Own adhesive bonding applications and assembly of structures (setup, bonding, fasteners).
Suggest improvements to SOPs based on floor experience.
Perform self-quality checks with high reliability.
Read and interpret SOPs to ensure Workplace Standards.
