Job summary

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures in Miami seeks a Quality Engineer specializing in aircraft composite repairs. The role evaluates damage on nacelles and control surfaces, develops repair plans with OEM data or FAA-approved data, and mentors technicians in composite processes.

The engineer will verify in-process and post-repair quality, collaborate with engineering and production, and ensure FAA airworthiness while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience performing aerospace composite repairs.
• Read, speak, and write in English; able to interpret OEM manuals and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate damaged composite structures and determine repair solutions.
• Develop and implement repair plans with OEM data or FAA-approved data.
• Read and interpret OEM manuals, drawings and repair instructions.
• Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations.
• Assist in repair plan development and quality verification.
