Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia, USA, seeks a Sr Production Planner to shape production planning for a growing site and support the ramp-up of the LVA factory. You will translate dependencies into feasible, cost-conscious plans and collaborate across functions and sites to strengthen digital ways of working.

You will drive scheduling, contribute ideas for digitalization, and ensure delivery against service and cost targets while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in production planning or similar roles.
• Deep production-planning expertise.
• SAP technical knowledge.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.
• Ability to build a clear narrative from data and insights.
• Strong stakeholder-management and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute short term scheduling and drive short to medium planning activities for production planning processes.
• Contribute with improvement ideas and deployment on digitalization agenda.
• Balance service, feasibility and cost when making planning decisions.
• Identify and recommend improvements to planning practices and workflows.
• Use data and planning insights to support effective decision-making.
• Communicate complex supply-chain dependencies clearly.
• Collaborate with production managers, engineers and cross-site colleagues.
• Support other planners and contribute planning expertise across the organization.
• Help enable a smooth ramp-up of the LVA factory.
• Strengthen end-to-end collaboration across teams involved in component planning.
