Senior Compliance Specialist Remote. Candidates residing in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, or Texas are encouraged to apply.

The Sr Physician Compliance Specialist position provides compliance and privacy program support to management across Providence St. Joseph Health and its Affiliates in furtherance of our mission and to provide an effective compliance program. This position does not have direct reports, but it does direct the work of others on select individual, coordinated, or complex projects. This position works with highly sensitive information and leads some aspects of the Integrity, Compliance and Privacy Program, including workforce orientation, development of compliance & privacy education, incident response & documentation, investigations, regulatory research, policy & procedure development, Conflicts of Interest disclosure, compliance monitoring and program-related projects. A Sr Physician Compliance Specialist is expected to possess high level skills in auditing, investigative, and research techniques and subject matter expertise in regulations governing physician relationships (Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related fields of study.

  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

  • 4 years of progressive compliance/privacy experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration. Or

  • J.D.

  • 6 years of progressive compliance/privacy experience, preferably in a Healthcare setting, OR

  • 5 years of progressive compliance/privacy experience in healthcare setting with a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration, an MBA, JD or related field.

  • California: Bakersfield: Min: $40.11, Max: $62.27

  • Montana: Except Great Falls: Min: $32.29, Max: $50.13
